Licensed Addiction Counselor

 

Come join our team! Wings Treatment Center is looking for a Licensed Addiction Counselor to join our team.

 

Wings Adolescent Treatment Center was established in 2007. Wings provides treatment to adolescent males and females.  WINGS is located in Litchfield, MN. 

Wings is seeking an Licensed Drug and Alcohol Counselor who is creative, compassionate and caring.  
 

Wings promises a work environment that is never boring and fast paced.   LADC will work with clients ages 13-18 in a group residential setting providing strong psycho-educational and therapeutic programming via lectures, groups in line with the curriculum provided.  

Wings provides a multi-disciplinary approach to recovery and utilizes not only the 12 steps but also , Yoga, exercise, mindfulness and DBT therapy to increase coping skills in order to effect change. 

LADC will be responsible for paperwork , treatment plans, charting and discharge summaries. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to provide co-occurring services to Wings clients.

Must be able to pass background check with fingerprints and have a strong desire to help either male or female adolescents in their recovery journey.

School is located on site with an emphasis on the clients education as well as treatment .

Part-time Chemical Tech Support staff

Looking for a refreshing career path helping youth reach their potential? We are hiring for support staff!

Wings is an adolescent residential facility for substance abuse use and mental health disorders. We are hiring for all-shifts part-time. 

We have the following shifts open:

 

7:00 am -3:00 pm  

8:00 am -4:00 pm 

4:00 pm -12:00 am 

12:00 am to 8:00 am  (This position is an awake position 


Must have consistent transportation and be timely to all shifts. Valid driver’s license is preferred but not required.

Staff will be at least one year free of documented substance use problems and be willing to submit a background check.
 

The chemical dependency technician is responsible for the following: 

  • Being a positive role model to the youth you serve
  • Modeling appropriate boundaries at all times with both male and female clients
  • Providing dependable, consistent supervision to all clients
  • Maintaining communication with other staff such as counselors, administration, and clients
  • Administering medication after being trained by nursing staff
  • Documenting client behavior, communication, and client watches each shift worked
  • Facilitating family visits and phone calls
  • Overnight staff does moderate cleaning
  • Driving clients to and from outings, recreation, and programming
  • Facilitating communication to multi-disciplinary team including house manager and administration.

Part-time Food Service Professional

We are looking for a Part-time Food Service Professional

 

WINGS is an adolescent treatment Center in Litchfield and are looking to hire part-time Food Service Professional.  

Wings is a residential facility for adolescents with substance use and mental health disorders.

This position is every other weekend and 2-3 days during the week. The weekdays shift may vary week by week.

Shifts available:

6:00 am – approximately 1-2pm 

2:00 pm – approximately 6:30 pm.

 

All clients and staff will eat the same prepared meal.  (This is not a short order line cook position)

 

Essential job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Follow daily menu to provide healthy meals for clients and staff.
  • Comply with food and health safety requirements as governed by federal and state laws and regulations
  • Be a positive role model to the youth; as well as model appropriate boundaries at all times with both male and female clients.
  • Operate commercial kitchen and dining room equipment, i.e. dishwasher, mixers, etc.
  • Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and counter/table surfaces
  • Daily cleaning of kitchen space to include sweeping and mopping floors
  • Follow proper restocking procedures and monitor expiration dates to ensure the highest quality foods• Contribute to the efficient operation of the Food Service Department and the goals of the Facility
  • Performs other related duties as assigned or requested

 Qualifications:

  • Previous food experience is preferred, but willing to train the right person
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Must have consistent transportation and be timely to all shifts.
  • Staff must be at least one year free from documented substance use and willing to submit background check.
